Chaudhary Charan Singh Mahavidyala, Bardari, Barabanki is the only agricultural college in this district, this college is no less than a boon for this district. India is a country with an agrarian economy. Agriculture is the basis of the lives of 80 per cent of the population of this country. Ironically, despite India being an ash with an agrarian economy, it still follows old methods of agriculture. Even today, most farmers do not know much about improved farming, improved species, advanced technology, etc. Lack of agricultural education is behind the lack of information. There is an acute shortage of agricultural universities and colleges in the country and the state. There are still many districts in Uttar Pradesh which do not have a single agricultural college. Barabanki district was also not immune to it.

Students who dreamt of agricultural education had to go to other districts to pursue education. In view of the demand of parents and students of Barabanki district, Hon'ble Shri Beni Prasad Verma (Babuji), Development Man of Barabanki District, decided to set up an Agricultural College in Barabanki district. The biggest hurdle in the establishment of the agricultural college was to make 20 acres of cultivable land available for the college. After a lot of efforts, land was purchased for the college at Bardari Gram Sabha, 7 kms away on Ramnagar-Badosayan route and the college was started under the guidance of Smt. Sudha Verma as the Founder Manager.
